Hey guys!
A couple of weeks ago we decided to go on a weekend trip to Montreal. We visited a lot of cute and trendy places that we would like to share with you in case you are in need of a girls only weekend !
Day 1 – Shopping Day
7 A.M : We took the bus to go to Montreal because it is an easy and affordable option (also a good alternative if you want to sleep on your way there 😉 ).
10 A.M: We arrived in Montreal, checked into our hotel and decided to go explore a little bit. We rapidly found a really cute park named Jardin Gamelin where we decided to have a little impromptu pic-nic. After eating, we started walking in the park and found cute spaces with communal gardens.
11 A.M : We started our shopping day on Sainte-Catherine street. If you want a great spot to shop in Montreal this street is for you ! There is a great variety of shops, some internationally recognized brands and also some local stores.
8 P.M : It was dinner time and we decided to try a place near our hotel named Cinko. It is a really cool restaurant with a nice ambiance. Also, what makes this place different is that all the dishes are 5$. The perfect place if you are on a budget !

Day 2 – Exploring Day
We started out the day by having breakfast at the hotel. We stayed at L’Auberge d’Antoine. It is a really simple and cute hotel located in the heart of Downtown Montreal.
After breakfast, direction the Vieux-Port! We took our time to visit different places that looked cute and took some pictures.
- The Clock Tower Beach was closed when we were in town but it was still fun to enthebeautiful sights of the Vieux-Port.
For lunch, we chose a coffee shop named Tommy’s . This place is so gorgeous! We couldn’t stop staring at all the little details everywhere. The food and the coffee were really good and their homemade dessert looked really yummy.
While exploring the Vieux-Port we found an indoors labyrinth. They told us that the experience is even better on Thursdays at night ! It was really fun and you should go try it if you have the chance.
We discovered a lot of cool things like this wall, a Caribbean food festival with a Henna stand and a lot of cute food trucks (CHURROS!!!) in the Vieux-Port.
After the churros break, it was time to go explore outside the Vieux-Port, further towards the old Montreal. We passed by the Cathedrale Notre-Dame-de-Foy and a lot of other beautiful buildings.
Before going back home, we needed to get something in our bellies so we went to a really cute restaurant (our fave) named Venice MTL. It is inspired by a Californian surf shop and the aesthetic of this place is on point. And the food… YUMMY. It was affordable and flavourful. We totally recommend it.
