Hi everybody !
Today we prepared a post that is a little different from what we usually do. While in Greece, Kathrina took a lot of pictures that she would like to share with you guys. That is why we decided to put together a little travel diary of her recent trip! In this post, we will show a majority of the places Kathrina visited during her 16 days stay!
We really hope you enjoy !
After a 10 hours flight, we went straight to our first location : Cape Sounion.
Special appearance by Clotilde, Anne-Sarah and Élyse!
The second day, we took the ferry from Athens to Mykonos.
All the blue and white buildings were so pretty and we loved just walking around and exploring the town.
Restaurants with great views are my favorite !
My favorite combo on a hot day ! My romper is from Forever XVI and I bought my hat at American Eagle.
The next day, we took another boat that transported us to the island of Delos where we visited the really impressive site.
We decided to climb up the mountain to get a phenomenal view of the archeological site and the islands near us.
A couple days later we moved to Santorini where we witnessed the most breathtaking views!
My travel buddy Clotilde and me !
Our bus stopped at a little village on the way to the main city so we could get an impressive overview of Fira and Oia in the distance
We found a new friend !
We also stopped at the Venetsanos winery and got the chance to taste some of their wines with this amazing view, which was a really fun activity!
Pretty view of the Néa Kaméni volcano from Fira !
It was really amusing to walk through the impressive village of Fira. There is a lot of diverse shops that sell original Greek products and also a various choice of restaurants and cafés with a stunning view!
The next day was also fun since we got to walk to the top of the volcano and then jump out of a boat into the ocean . We then swam to the hot springs, where the water is warmed by the active volcano.
After a long day in the sun, we went to Oia to get some dinner while watching the sunset.
A cute little dress from H&M that matched Grece’s colors perfectly!
My favorite view of Athen’s Acropolis!
The famous and impressive Parthenon
The pretty archeological site where we visited the Stoa of Attalos Museum and saw different artefacts that were excavated from the Ancient Agora.
The beautiful city of Nafplio, which is situated in the Peloponnese and had Italian vibes since it was conquered by the Venetians
The Epidaurus Theater, which was built in the 4th century before Christ!
Delphi, an ancient sanctuary built in the mountains of central Greece.
Our last stop was at Meteora, a formation of immense monolithic pillars on which were built six Orthodox monasteries.
We visited two of them, which was a special and very interesting moment.
You can get an amazing view of the city of Kalambaka from the monasteries.
We returned to Athens for our last day and decided to explore some parts of the city we had not been to yet. We, among others, saw the University and the Greek Parliament.
I had an amazing time in Greece and I hope you guys liked seeing a little bit of it in this post. Tell us if you would like us to continue these travel diaries type of posts !
See you next time.
